New York Jets

The Jets won a big game yesterday against the Chiefs. The game was a lot closer then expected as the final was 28-24 and the Jets were a 13 point favorite going into the game. Brett Favre had another rough outing as he threw 3 interceptions and was booed by the home fans. By the end of the game the fans were no longer booing as Favre completed his 2nd touchdown of the day to Laverneus Coles in the 4th quarter to give the Jets a 4 point lead and win the game 28-24. The Jets are currently 4-3 and in 3rd place in the division trailing the Patriots and Bills who both have a 5-2 record. Even though they are 3rd in the division they are 6th in the conference and if the season ended today they would make the playoffs as a wild-card team. Next Sunday they take on the Bills which is a very big game potentially determining the first place team in the division.

New York Rangers

The New York Rangers are my favorite team in the NHL which happens to be my favorite sport. Hockey is very big in my house, me, my brother, and father all like 3 different teams so it gets a little hectic. Im of course a Ranger fan who are sitting in first place in the entire league with a 8-2-1 record. My brother is a Devils fan who arent doing to bad themselves with a 5-2-1 record. My father is an Islander fan who currently are the last place team in the league with a 2-5 record. The Rangers already played the Devils once this season and were victorious 4-1 so I have the bragging rights for now. Tonight the Rangers play the Islanders and hopefully all goes well or else im gonna get an earfull from my father which could get pretty annoying.

The Fort - Mens B Division

The Mens B Division finally came to an end last week. As you may have expected my team did win the championship. We played the Blues in the finals who finshed in second place only behind my team. The game took place on a Tuesday night at 8:00 and there was $500 on the line. We won the game 3-2 and I scored all 3 goals for my team, the final goal coming in the last 2 minutes of the game to give us that 3-2 lead. I also finished the season as the leading scorer with 16 goals and 5 assists, a total of 21 points in 10 games. I also led the league in scoring for the playoffs with 7 goals and 1 assist, 8 points in just 3 games which led to winning the championship.

Intramural Football

Intramural is a football league organized by St. Johns. We play every sunday morning sometimes twice. Last year my team, Sigma Chi won the championship. This year we are not able to be called Sigma Chi anymore because we were kicked off campus so we are now "The Kings". We currently have a record of 5-1 the one loss coming on a heartbreaking game in which we lost by one point on the last play of the game. Only 5 of our guys showed up to this game when we really need 7 to play. I plan on winning another championship this year and so far it looks like we will as we are in first place. Ill keep you posted on how that works out in the future.
